In the tradition of Wale, Mark Ronson, and late DJ AM and Travis Barker, house music icon Deadmau5 has been named as the house artist for the 2010 MTV VMAs. The mouse-head-wearing spinner will cue up songs all night during the September 12 event. Deadmau5 (a.k.a. 28-year-old Toronto native Joel Zimmerman), who recently headlined a string of festivals from Coachella to Ultra Music and the Electric Daisy Carnival, is one of the most in-demand producers on the house music scene, and he’ll join an already bursting roster of VMA performers that includes Kanye West, Drake and Best New Artist nominee Florence and the Machine.

Kaskade- Dynasty ft Haley

Steve Aoki- I’m in the House

Steve Aoki is in the house this time! Theres a line in this song thats shouts out Crookers, LMFAO, the Bloody Beetroots, Pase Rock and Boys Noize are all in the house. Also in the music video you can see Zuper Blahq who is believed to be Will.I.Am. We know he’s been doing some side projects. Whilst he denies it, everyone and their pet dog knows that Zuper Blahq is, in fact, Will.i.am.

Kid Cudi- Pursuit of Happiness (Alternative Version)

So apparently from what I’ve heard this is the version Kid Cudi wanted to release as the original video. Personally I think this video kills the original. Its a pretty trippy video and has great visuals. This song is called Pursuit Of Happiness ft MGMT and Ratatat.
